Den nye åpenhetsloven som trådte i kraft 1. juli 2022 skal fremme virksomheters respekt for grunnleggende menneskerettigheter og anstendige arbeidsforhold, og sikre allmenheten tilgang til informasjon.
Virksomheter skal på forespørsel informere om hvordan arbeidet med å ivareta menneskerettigheter og anstendige arbeidsforhold foregår internt og eksternt mot leverandører og forretningspartnere.
I Avida Finans er vi opptatt av å ha fokus på menneskerettigheter i alle deler av organisasjonen, i våre leverandørkjeder og i vår forretningsvirksomhet.

Background and introduction
This report is made for you to read and learn more on how Avida´s work relates to Åpenhetsloven.
The main purpose of the law is to "promote companies' respect for basic human rights and decent working conditions in connection with the production of goods and the provision of services.
Avida has no other intention than following the legal requirements.
In general, Avida´s home markets; Sweden Norway, Finland and Germany, limits the scope. However, our purchases of products, cooperation with partners and assignments for customers may be exposed to conditions where basic human rights are not respected. Due to this, we must have processes to be able to make proven choices.
